The race we took part in with our team consisting of Onur Dağlıoğlu, Cenk Dağlıoğlu, Ayhan Oksak, Mehmet Gündüz, Emre Ural, Furkan Uysal and Sinan Kartal is 140 km between Alanya and Gazipaşa. took place on the track. Smit Willem Jakobus from China Glory Cycling Team won the race with 77 cyclists from 13 teams with a time of 3rd 16th 34 seconds, while Ayhan Oksak, one of our athletes in the follow-up group 1 minute behind, was 34th and Emre Ural was 53rd among 61 riders who completed within the time limits. In a statement about the race, our team's sporting director Mutlu Erçevik said: "This race, in which we took part with a large team, was an important opportunity for our young athletes to gain international experience. Although we could not continue the program due to the earthquake disaster in the first days of our camp program, which we had planned before, Although we did not have a good preparation process, we especially care about the participation of our young athletes in such high-level races in terms of gaining experience and performance development. Therefore, we found it appropriate to take part in this race as a team. I think the whole team is fighting very well under the current conditions. I believe that this struggle will be reflected in much better results.”
